After eleven years in Detroit, I’ve moved to Chicago…

It’s been two weeks since I’ve begun this adventure and I’m slowly getting my footing. I’ve designed my first piece in my new surroundings as an independent designer, taken the bus alone without getting lost, found the grocery store, and rode a bike for the first time in several years. It’s an odd feeling when everything is new again, even the simplest things — More times that not though, that odd feeling leads to new ways of seeing and creating.
